Play Summary

A story of a Jatt husband and Bengali wife.  How she irritates him with her cleanliness nature and keeps too many towels for  different purpose.

The Story depicts that our society is becoming a materialistic puppet. In this play a husband from Haryana and a Bengali  share their everyday life together with different ideologies. The types of problem they face due to different traditions.  ‘Tauliya’ signifies cleanliness and the whole concept is based on this word. The Bengali wife loves clean environment around her and this is the big reason of argument between them.  A daily tip exerts of husband-wife beautifully designed by Parmanand.  How just a simple word “love” binds two people of different thinking -together.
