Chacha Chchakkan In Action” is one of the troupe’s thriving productions in recent times – a humorous, light hearten and self deprecating take on the life in and around us. The play revolves around the quirky misadventures of one and only “Chacha Chchakkan” born and brought up in Lucknow and educated in Aligarh.

It begins with Chacha Chchakkan’s chaotic search for his “eyeglasses” . He then proceeds to take care of his ailing son by giving him regular doses of medicine — albeit the wrong ones. He finally decides to take up the job of giving out dirty clothes to the washer woman: This time, he ends up doing something which his wife doesn’t approve at all !!

The play features some of the prominent actors of the country; including M Sayeed Alam as Chacha Chchakkan, Niti Phool as Chacha’s bitter half and Jaskiran Chopra as now extinct Dhoban.

Last but not the least, the play is produced by Pierrot’s Troupe – the theater company credited with giving many new, original and multi award wining entertaining productions to Hindi, Urdu & English Theatre: Ghalib In New Delhi, Maulana Azad, Big B, Ghalib, K L Saigal, Sons of Babur, Ghalib Ke Khat, Shah Jahan –O- Mumtaz, Pakistan Aur Alzheimer’s, To Gandhi Ji With Spelling Mistakes, Sir Iqbal etc.
