The dramatist’s scholarly pursuit sets aside group of onlookers back in opportunity to the Mughal period. The central character of the play is obviously Bahadur Shah Zafar, the last Mughal sovereign, moping in a state of banishment in far away Rangoon. In the present circumstances, he has a passionate admirer in Rudranshu Sengupta . Rudranshu is so fixated on the life of the last Mughal that he has a virtual extraordinary to encounter that vehicles him to meet Bahadur Shah face to face. From that point on the play swings among dream and reality, over a wide span of time, rationale and feeling, certainty and fiction.
Rudranshu is gone up against a guided visit by Bahadur Shah through different point of reference occasions of the mughal period. They easily slide into the universe of Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jahangir, Shahjahan and Aurangzeb, all observed coordinating the course of medieval India or Hindustan.
